Hujan Petang

Hujan petang sering mengusik rasa. Aku jadi teringat kampung halaman, rindu pada yang sudah tiada dan terkenang hari-hari silam yang pergi dibawa angin waktu.

Jauh di rantau orang meski lebih suku abad tidak menghakis kasihku pada kampung halaman. Bayu Selat Melaka tidak memudarkan rinduku pada hamparan sawah padi di daerah kelahiran. Kota Melaka nan kukuh berdiri berabad lamanya masih juga tak upaya meragut ingatanku terhadap rumah lama tinggalan ayahanda bonda tercinta. Masih ada sisa rumah itu di tepi sungai, di belakangnya sawah padi yang menguning di hujung tahun seperti ini.

Akukah anak seluang yang jauh melaut tapi belum pulang ke tepi pantai? Akukah bangau yang terbang tinggi tapi belum juga kembali singgah di belakang kerbau?

Dan kalau aku pulang, hanya sekadar untuk mengutip rindu, apakah maknanya?

I treasure the days spent with my gals. They used to be 3 little gals with long hair that I had to tie everyday. They used to be 3 little gals who love to read (and Alhamdulillah they still do) English books. They used to be 3 little gals who sometimes made me sad because I didn't have enough money to buy them nice things except books/scrabble set/non branded computer/cheap shoes and clothes.

Now they are 3 big gals who are doing well in their studies ( continuing their school-going days achievements), and sometimes can afford to buy me gifts for my birthday and mother's day. And now, with Allah's blessings I can afford to buy them better computers and little cars, though the branded clothes is still once in a blue moon affair.Now they are 3 big gals on the way towards a much better life than mine.

I pray to Allah that they will not have to go through any of the difficulties I had to face. I pray they will have better degrees than what I have secured through hardships. I pray they will have more money to spend on things they like.I pray they will find happiness till their last breath.

Whatever happens I am their mother and I will die a thousand times over for their sake.

ILMU YANG KUMANAFAATKAN

1. Roh para Nabi dan utusan menuju ke Syurga Adnin..

2. Roh para ulama menuju ke Syurga Firdaus ..

3.. Roh mereka yang berbahagia menuju ke Syurga Illiyyina.

4. Roh para syuhada berterbangan seperti burung di syurga mengikut kehendak mereka.

5. Roh para mukmin yang berdosa akan tergantung di udara tidak di bumi dan tidak di langit sampai hari kiamat.

6. Roh anak-anak orang yang beriman akan berada di gunung dari minyak misik..

7. Roh orang-orang kafir akan berada dalam neraka Sijjin, mereka disiksa berserta jasadnya hingga sampai hari Kiamat.'

Telah bersabda Rasullullah S.A.W:

'Tiga kelompok manusia yang akan dijabat tangannya oleh para malaikat pada hari mereka keluar dari kuburnya:-

1. Orang-orang yang mati syahid.

2. Orang-orang yang mengerjakan solat malam dalam bulan Ramadhan.

3. Orang berpuasa di hari Arafah.'

Last day

Today is the last day for the year's school session. But, MANY students are absent.They went back on Tuesday before Hari Raya Aidil Adha and they continue the holidays until today!!

So the school is silent, yes I mean real silent except for a few students who travel daily to school. I think there is around 20 students only.Hmm...this is expected from the beginning because SPM will start next Monday. Of course students who went back to places like Selangor and south Johor will not come back for the sake of one day!

I 'close' the register, write the names for December and attend the year end staff meeting where we are being given the duties for next year.

Farewell 2010 school session. This has been a challenging year for me. Though I have been not well for quite some time, I still manage to complete my duties. I thank Allah for HIS blessings, I pray for a better future and I seek HIS forgiveness for all my sins.

INSTITUTE OF MENTAL HOSPITAL(IMH)

One truck driver was doing his usual delivery to IMH.
He discovered a flat tyre when he was about to go home. He jacked up the
truck and took the flat tyre down. When he was about to fix the spare
tyre, he accidentally dropped all the bolts into the drain. As he couldn't fish
the bolts out, he started to panic.

One patient happened to walk past and asked the driver what happened.
The driver thought to himself, since there's nothing much he could do; he told
the patient the whole incident.

The patient laughed at him & said "can't even fix such a simple problem...no
wonder you are destined to be a truck driver..."
"Here's what you can do, take one bolt each from the other 3 tyres and fix
it onto this tyre. Then drive to the nearest workshop and replace the
missing ones, easy as that"

The driver was very impressed and asked
"You're so smart but why are you here at the IMH?"

The patient replied: "Hello, I stay here because I'm crazy not STUPID!"

A friend emailed this to me. There are other incidents at the IMH but I like this one best!!
