Then there was the coffee break where the plastic spoons and forks were not enough for all the participants,( including me!!) to eat their fried noodles. When I finally found the spoon and fork and started eating I received a text message from my second daughter who was at home for the university long holidays. She had asthma attack.
Leaving the fried noodles half way, I snatched my bag, told the facilitators that I had to leave and came back to fetch her and took her to the hospital.
Spent some time there because she had to be given the inhaler. Then she was examined by the doctor, waited for the medicine and only then we came home. It was raining, the kind of weather that aggravated her asthma.
After having chicken soup for lunch, she took her medicine and rested in bed. She coughed and coughed and that made me decide not to go back for the course. My daughter's well being is not to be traded with the literature course. And that's final.
